It’s back and better than ever! The Moreton Bay Region’s biggest celebration, Redcliffe KiteFest, is returning to the Redcliffe Peninsula with a massive weekend of fun for the whole family from 15-16th June. Bringing the whole family along might sound pricey, but it doesn’t have to be!
Here are the best tips to get the most out of your Redcliffe KiteFest experience without breaking the bank:
When it comes to saving money for families, having a budget is a must! A good idea is to give each of your kids a budget for the day for the activities, rides and things they want to do and buy. $20 each could mean an ice cream, a pony ride and a face painting!
Parents can save money by having a food budget for for the whole family at an event.
If you happen to need more cash, ATM2GO ATM’s will be available at the event for your convenience!
Grab a Redcliffe Family Pass online or at the gate for better value - the pass includes 2 adults and 2 children (or 1 adult and 3 children) for $25.00!
Tickets will be available soon to purchase online, or available at the gate.
Children under the age of 2 get in to KiteFest for free! If you have a student in the family, get them to bring along and present their student card at the gate for a discount from $10 entry to $5. Every little bit helps!
From popular kids show entertainers to the laid-back soulful vibes from local musicians - main stage entertainment is always free to enjoy.
Most market vendors, rides and activities are cash only, so it’s good to have cash on you for the day ahead. Luckily ATM2GO’s mobile ATM’s will be on location!
KiteFest will be bursting with free fun for kids! Watch kites fly in the USC Sky Zone, see kids entertainment live on the Kindred Main Stage, and enjoy interactive and exciting activities and workshops for kids.
Don’t waste money buying plastic water bottles - bring your drink bottle from home and refill at the bubblers available to save cash!
Nobody likes expensive paid parking or big parking fines!
Redcliffe KiteFest has a free shuttle bus operating from 8.30am-4.30pm.
