It’s back and better than ever! The Moreton Bay Region’s biggest celebration, Redcliffe KiteFest, is returning to the Redcliffe Peninsula with a massive weekend of fun for the whole family from 11-12 September. Bringing the whole family along might sound pricey, but it doesn’t have to be!

Here are the best tips to get the most out of your Redcliffe KiteFest experience without breaking the bank:

1. Have a budget

When it comes to saving money for families, having a budget is a must! A good idea is to give each of your kids a budget for the day for the activities, rides and things they want to do and buy.

Parents can save money by having a food budget for for the whole family at an event.

If you happen to need more cash, ATM’s will be available at the event for your convenience!

2. Family Pass

Tickets will be available soon to purchase online, or available at the gate.

Children 2 and under get in to KiteFest for free!

4. Check out Free Live Entertainment

From popular kids show entertainers to the laid-back soulful vibes from local musicians - main stage entertainment is always free to enjoy.

5. Locate the ATM’s & Have Cash on hand

Most market vendors, rides and activities are cash only, so it’s good to have cash on you for the day ahead. Luckily our mobile ATM’s will be on location!

6. Make the Most of Free Zones

KiteFest will be bursting with free fun for kids! Watch kites fly in the Kite Flying Zone, see kids entertainment live on the Main Stage,and enjoy interactive and exciting activities and workshops for kids.

7. Take Water

Don’t waste money buying plastic water bottles - bring your drink bottle from home and refill at the bubblers available to save cash!

8. Check Parking & Public Transport Information
