Mira Chorik is a performing artist and award-winning songwriter and producer based on Gubbi Gubbi land. Her work investigates loss and remembrance in performing art installations. She recently completed postgraduate study in Creative Arts and has a strong interest in art and music as the temple, experimental collaborations, and in hosting participatory group experiences. Residencies and performances include Caboolture Hub Studio Residency, Old Lock Up residency, Eudlo Music Nights, Glasshouse Musos, Anywhere Festival, Maleny Lane, Moreton Bay Park Jam and Woodford Folk Festival. Mira also hosts the Songwriters Roundtable, a supportive space for local songwriters to meet and hone the art of songwriting. She's currently working on her first album.
